The Guardians

In the times long gone there was an ancient legend of three dragon eggs holding the power of the elements. The blue one controlled water, the green one the earth, and the golden one held power over air and fire. It is said that when the darkest hours came and the sun drowns in the sea to never rise again, these dragon eggs will hatch to mark the beginning of a new era. Emperors and kings, heros and knights, have searched all over the place to claim these eggs for themselves, but no one found the location of these eggs that is hidden in the mystic mountain of Verdighera, and many perished on their quest. Three spirit guardians guard the eggs from harm, taking on the form of a green dragon, a tiger stripped feathered wolf, and a red marked raptor.

This is my second entry for [link] for the creation of new creatures in a scenery from another planet, and the rebirth of a legend (that I made up) forgotten in the depth of time. It took me forever to do since I couldn't decide on the colors or placement of everything, and I had a lot of trouble with the bird thing since I didn't do feathered wings forever, but it was a good environment practice. I also didn't draw dragons forever
